MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Mayor Cavalier Johnson held a press conference Wednesday, May 13 at the site of a proposed housing program in Milwaukee's King Park neighborhood that would invest more than $22 million into the area.
"Housing stability and neighborhood investments are the foundation to an economically thriving; that's what all of us want to have ultimately in Milwaukee," Johnson said. "Most important, housing provides security and the ability to plan for one's future."
The Redevelopment Authority of Milwaukee is set to review the second part of the proposed amendment later this month.
