MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee City Hall hosted the third annual City Connect Vendor Fair on Thursday, May 28, giving local entrepreneurs a chance to learn about city services and resources available to help their businesses grow.

"As you can see, the city of Milwaukee is growing; it's growing rapidly and the best thing we can do is help support small businesses. They are the foundation of our city, they give to us and we want to give back," said Mary Reed, director of the city's Department of Compliance and Engagement.

New this year, organizers introduced a workshop interest survey to help the city tailor future sessions to better meet the needs of small business owners.
