MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A gym studio on the city's east side is heating up -- by 125 degrees.

HOTWORX is a 24-hour inferred fitness studio. The studio has several temperature-controlled saunas with a handful of virtually lead classes, ranging from Pilates to cycling.

"When you warm up that core body temperature you start to sweat very quickly and you just burn a lot of calories," said Jennifer Lamont, Franchise owner of HOTWORX.

The studio offers 15-minute High Intensity Interval Training programs, along with 30-minutes of Isometric workouts.

"I can work out, do a 15-minute workout, and still get the intensity as if I was working an hour," said HOTWORX client Pamela Bell.

And while the sweat equity for clients like bell is nice, her workouts go beyond the drip.

"I had a heart attack, and so that was like a health scare that was like okay, I have to workouts, I know I don’t like to workouts, but I need to work out," said Bell.

A scary moment that put her life back into her hands.

"Regardless of what your schedule is you're able to come in get a workout in and you don’t have to worry about is the employee going to be late you're the employee, you're giving yourself access, and you're coming in to work out said Bell.
