MILWAUKEE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee Fire Department (MFD) says a few Milwaukee residents have been displaced from their homes following a vacant house fire that spread to two other homes.
MFD responded to the call near 37th and North Avenue at around 9:13 a.m. Saturday, March 28.
Upon arrival, officials say the fire at the boarded-up home extended to the two houses on either side, and they had to evacuate the northern house and exposure.
As a result, MFD says three to four people have been displaced, and the Red Cross is assisting them.
There were no injuries or hospital transports from the incident.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
