MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Two Milwaukee clothing boutiques are offering private shopping appointments, bringing a concept more commonly found in cities like Los Angeles and New York to the local scene.

Verranox and Ladies of the Loon both curate vintage, hand-picked pieces and collect customers' style preferences and sizes ahead of time to tailor the racks before they arrive.

"I really like timeless fashion, right so things you can wear now. You can wear it three years from now. You can pass it down to your daughter in 15 years," said Verranox owner Courtney Stewart.

Ladies of the Loon specializes in a mohair collection with pieces sourced from around the world.
