LOS ANGELES (CBS 58) -- Memorials continue to grow for NBA legend Kobe Bryant outside of the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
Bryant, his 13-year-old daughter and seven others were killed in a helicopter crash on Sunday in Calabasas, California.Â
New tributes to #KobeBryant just outside the Staples Center... very reminiscent of what we saw after the death of Michael Jackson. Live report coming up on @CBS58 at 6:30. pic.twitter.com/bcsoDzcmeZ

The NBA postponed the Los Angeles Lakers' game on January 28 in the wake of Bryant's death.
CBS 58 spoke with fans outside the Staples Center about the decision.
"It wouldn't see right, right now," San Fernando Valley resident Ana Truman said. "How can you celebrate a victory right now?"
"He will forever be our hero and I think he deserves our respect," Long Beach resident Edgar Vargas said.
