WAUWATOSA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Two people were arrested and multiple security officers pepper sprayed during a fighting incident at Mayfair Mall on Saturday, May 9, according to Wauwatosa police.

Police say they were called to the mall at around 2:14 p.m. as security officers were attempting to break up the physical altercation.

When officers arrived, the subjects had left the mall and were in the parking lot. Police arrested the two people involved in the fight and issued municipal citations for disorderly conduct. 

During the fight, police say Mayfair Mall security attempted to use pepper spray on the people fighting, however one of the security officers accidently sprayed several other security officers. 

The security officers were treated by the Wauwatosa Fire Department, and one was taken to the hospital for medical treatment.
