MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Love is in the air as local businesses help couples celebrate Valentine's Day in Milwaukee.

"Some choose churches, beaches or mountains to express that love for another," Matt Littlejohn, an officiant, said.

Others choose the local brewery.

Every 15 minutes on Valentine's Day, a couple is getting married or renewing their vows inside Lakefront Brewery.

After the 'shotgun' wedding, the couple celebrates their new union with free beer.

"You'll look around the beer hall and there will be like three women in their wedding dresses and everyone in their tuxes," Lakefront Brewery Beer Hall Manager Sam Szymborski said.

Across town, couples are celebrating their love by learning about one of the great love stories in Milwaukee history.

"Just kind of what love was like during the Victorian Era," Pabst Mansion Lead Museum Assistant David Zeh said.

The Pabst Mansion is giving special 'Love Is Burning' tours of the home, while sharing sweet and sometimes scandalous secrets of the Pabst family relationships.

"It was, honestly, a very odd relationship at that time, because (Captain Pabst and Maria) almost married out of love, and you didn't hear about that a lot back then," Zeh said.

Couples can also get married or renew their vows in the mansion.

Nothing says "I love you" quite like a dozen red roses. Or what Snapdragon Flowers calls "The Sexy Six."

"Today is the Super Bowl for flowers," Snapdragon Flowers owner Rhonda Deaver said. "We do a lot of unique designs. So, it's really cool. It becomes a conversational piece for them."

Local flower shops might be the busiest places in Milwaukee on Feb. 14, as husbands, boyfriends and partners line up to get something special for their valentine.
