KEWASKUM, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A small town showed for their very own Olympic hero this evening.
Kewaskum held a parade for gold medal winner speed skater Jordan Stolz.
Jordan won two golds and a silver at the Winter Olympics in Italy.
He signed autographs while he walked the parade route even lagging behind the police and fire trucks up front because he was taking the time to stop and meet with everyone on the street.
"It's one thing competing at the games but having people actually around you and supporting you like in Kewaskum," said Stolz. "That's pretty cool to have and they put the effort in to show up for me, so thought I would try and meet as many of them as I could. Shake as many hands and sign as many autographs and I think I did a fair amount of that; the police weren't too happy that the road was still shut down."
The parade started at the library and ended at the high school, where he answered questions about being an Olympian.
