WEST ALLIS -- I-94 will be shut down between Highway 100 and the Zoo Interchange between July 18 and July 21. The closure will allow the new bridge for trains to be placed over I-94.
The west span of Highway 100 will be demolished as work continues on the overall Highway 100 interchange. A large diameter storm sewer pipe will also be installed across the highway.
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation says several detours are in place to help drivers get around.
