Gov. Walker's chief of staff stepping down

Governor Walker's longtime chief of staff, Eric Schutt, is stepping down from his position.  Schutt has been with the Walker Administration since 2011.

The governor's office confirms his departure, saying Schutt is leaving to \"pursue other opportunities and spend more time with family.\"  Schutt played a key role in passing three state budgets and legislation that repealed collective bargaining for most public employees.

Starting next month, Rich Zipperer, Walker's current deputy chief of staff, will take over the position.
