MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) — The Milwaukee Brewers wrapped up the 2026 MLB Draft on Sunday, selecting 20 players highlighted by first-round shortstop Trey Ebel and one of the top-ranked outfielders in the draft.

Milwaukee used the No. 25 overall pick on Ebel, a 17-year-old shortstop from Corona High School in California. Ebel batted .417 with 10 doubles, two triples, nine home runs, 47 RBI and just six strikeouts in 31 games as a senior. He is committed to Texas A&M and joins his older brother, Brady Ebel, in the Brewers organization after Brady was selected 32nd overall by Milwaukee in the 2025 MLB Draft.

Strosnider was the 2025 Big 12 Freshman of the Year, the National Freshman Hitter of the Year and was ranked the No. 13 overall prospect by Baseball America and No. 22 by MLB Pipeline entering the draft.
