GLENDALE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Gateway to Asia Asian Culture Festival drew a large turnout Saturday, May 16 at Bayshore Mall in Glendale, with free music and dance performances, food and family activities highlighting Asian-owned businesses.
"That's one of the reasons I decided to migrate to the United States. You know, it's a very diverse country, and especially Wisconsin state," said Ziming Wu, CEO of the Wisconsin Chinese Chamber of Commerce.
"They embrace, you know, the diversities and appreciate our cultures."
AAPI Month celebrations in the Milwaukee area continue Thursday, May 21 with an AAPI Food Truck Day at Red Arrow Park from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
