Friday morning snow is done but some light snow might be possible this weekend

NOW: Friday morning snow is done but some light snow might be possible this weekend
NEXT:

Our second round of light snow in 24 hours rolled in early Friday. We did get a swatch of heavy snow during the overnight hours Thursday night but thankfully by the morning commute Friday road conditions had already started to improve. Snow totals Ranged anywhere from a half inch to 2" of snow with the Thursday night snow.

The wind gusts will pick up Friday morning and stay strong throughout the day with gusts to 40 mph. The wind stays breezy Friday night but then lightens up both Saturday and Sunday.

We should see some filtered sun the rest of Friday then stay clear Saturday night. The clear sky will allow the temperatures to drop pretty quickly Saturday morning and with a lot of wind we will see wind chill values Saturday morning as cold as -10.

Saturday will only see highs around 20 so it stays chilly all day but Sunday gets back to 30.

Saturday night could see a brief round of light snow. There is some uncertainty among the weather models as to if we see any of that snow at all. If we do, our northeast counties, especially north of Milwaukee, looks like the best chances with some quick light accumulation possible.

It's even warmer next week with a consistent signal that highs could reach into the low by Monday then hang out in the 30s the rest of next week.
