FRANKLIN, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Forte Theatre School in Franklin is offering summer camps for the first time, with three weeklong programs running June through August for students ages 12 and up.
The camps include Build a World-Premiere on June 22-26, where students create and perform an original musical; Stage Craft Sampler from July 6-10, focused on costumes, makeup, props and stage combat; and School of Rock from Aug. 10-14, which builds toward a final performance of high-energy musical numbers.
Angie Bier, executive director, and Molly Kempfer, education director of Forte Theatre Company, joined us on Tuesday, April 21 to talk more about the new camps.
Camps are held at Forte Theatre Company's studio and at the Franklin Community Education and Recreation Center. Registration is open and space is limited. Click here for more information.
