MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- We have new information on a case we've been following for over a year. 

Former Milwaukee Police Department (MPD) officer Juwon Madlock has been sentenced to five years in prison, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office. 

Madlock pleaded guilty to multiple charges last December, all related to him helping a convicted felon commit crimes. 

The charges against Madlock include giving ammunition to a felon, possessing a machine gun, lying to federal agents and obstruction. 

Madlock worked for the Milwaukee Police Department for near 10 years and resigned at the time of his arrest last March.
