MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A man accused of driving drunk and hitting and killing two people and seriously injuring another has been sentenced to prison.
The two people killed in the crash were a couple from Oostburg, identified as 56-year-old Jay Horne and 51-year-old Nicole Horne.
The judge laid down a sentenced on all three counts against Ace Vue -- a total of 22 years, 12 years in prison followed by 10 years of extended supervision.
The Horne family was present for the sentencing, giving heartbreaking testimony on the loss of their loved ones.
"I was the one who had to call the rest of the family. To repeat those words again and again. To hear the cries, the disbelief, the heartbreak," said Kevin Horne, brother of victim. "Then came the task that no one should ever have to face, going to the Ozaukee County Medical Examiner's Office to identify the bodies of by brother and his wife."
Video showed 24 cars passing Vue before he collided head-on with the Horne family.
