MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A driver was killed late Thursday, April 16 after a vehicle traveling north on the 5500 block of S. Howell Street went over the median, struck a pillar and caught fire, according to Milwaukee police.

The crash happened at around 11:28 p.m. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene and has not been identified.

Police say the crash is under investigation.
