MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The fifth annual Doggy Day is set for Saturday, April 11 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Deer District, featuring more than 80 local vendors, food trucks and activities for dogs and their owners. It is free and open to the public.
Proceeds benefit Winston's Wishes, a nonprofit that takes in dogs from MADACC who may need extra care or aren't thriving in the shelter environment. Jake Schneider, founder of Winston's Wishes, joined us on Wednesday, March 25, to preview Doggy Day.
Attendees are asked to bring well-socialized, leashed dogs and avoid retractable leashes.
