RACINE COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) – Crews responded to a fire at a home in Racine County early Tuesday morning.
Authorities say they were called to the home near Cliffside Drive and Red Maple Court around 4 a.m.
A firefighter on the scene was taken to a hospital for a heat-related emergency but is expected to be okay.
According to the fire department, the homeowner got out of the house safely. Ashes from a fire left outside of the garage may be to blame for causing the fire.
