MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Two Milwaukee democrats criticized President Trump's response to the coronavirus pandemic Thursday, July 2, and promoted the plans of his rival.
Presumptive Democratic nominee Joe Biden has put together a plan to beat COVID-19, and in a virtual press conference Thursday, Congresswoman Gwen Moore and State Representative JoCasta Zamarripa praised that plan.
"If Joe were president today, he would guarantee regular, reliable testing and PPE for anyone who's called back to work, and frankly, for those Latinos who never stopped working through this crisis," said Rep. Zamarripa.
The Biden Plan also includes premium pay for health care workers putting themselves at risk and emergency paid leave for anyone who gets COVID-19 or who needs to take care of a loved one who has it.
