MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- 414 Day celebrations are getting started a bit early, celebrating all things Milwaukee!
414 Day is a nod to Milwaukee's area code.
Sunday's celebrations though had a bit of sazón or Hispanic flavor, as it was called "Cuatro Uno Cuatro Day!"
It's a way for the community to celebrate the impact that Latinos have in our city.
"I just love how proud we are. We are very proud of all of the values we stand for, especially in a Mexican culture," said participate Denice Alanis. "I am proud that - I'm excited that we are not ashamed to show 'this is our food, everybody let's share' you know. There's always room for someone at the table and I just love that about my culture."
The event was at Third Street Market Hall with local vendors and foods, making it a fiesta you couldn't miss.
More 'Cream City' celebrations will take place throughout the area this Tuesday, April 14th.
