UNION GROVE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The "Brewed Awakening" sitcom is looking for background extras
And Wednesday night, May 27, the shows' production team held a casting call.
People came out to Union Grove High School to give it their all and get a chance to be in the sitcom.
It's based in Sheboygan with two friends chasing a dream to open a craft brewery.
CBS 58 spoke with the show's creator Wednesday on where they are in the process of making the show.
"We're about a month out from filming," said 'Brewed Awakening' creator Evan Guirsch. "We started about a year ago with the script and we got fully cast and fully crewed and just finishing up some loose odds and ends."
Guirsch is hoping to bring the sitcom to either network television or a streaming platform.
