Brewers rally to beat Dodgers in Counsell's debut

The Brewers scored three runs in the eighth to rally against Clayton Kershaw and the Dodgers, taking a 4-3 decision at home and giving new manager Craig Counsell a win in his first game as Brewers skipper.

The first batter of the Counsell era was Joc Pederson, who homered off Kyle Lohse. The Dodgers carried a 3-1 lead to the eighth thanks to Kershaw, but Hector Gomez homered, Carlos Gomez doubled in Adam Lind, and Ryan Braun's broken bat infield single gave the Brewers the lead. Francisco Rodriguez finished it off in the ninth.

The Brewers have now won three straight games for the first time this season.
