MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A warrant is out for the arrest of 22-year-old Briar Maier, who's charged with alleged human trafficking of a University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee student.

According to prosecutors, the victim said that she picked up Maier from the Rave back in October of 2024 after meeting him on Snapchat. She brought him back to her dorm room at UWM where he stayed for a few days. During that time, Maier introduced her to what she thought was MDMA, or Molly, but was actually crack cocaine.

The victim became addicted and would purchase the drug from Maier every week, according to the criminal complaint.

Shortly after, Maier used the victim's phone to contact random men on social media, asking if they would participate in "sex acts." Prosecutors say that Maier would take photos and videos of the victim doing sexual activities for money.

In November of 2024, Maier arranged a meet up another man where the victim was made to perform a sex act on them for money. Those arrangements continued with different men for several months.

According to police, Maier took her credit card and made withdrawals from her account. He even tried to open up other lines of credit in her name, saying that he will provide her "everything she would ever want and need."

The criminal complaint says that Maier threaten her at least five times. It never got physical, but property was damaged as a threat.

Maier was in possession of a rifle and when the victim stated she didn't want to do a "date" he would "look at the firearm and look at [her]."

The victim told law enforcement she "was his puppet," describing how Maier would withhold drugs from her, saying that she had to get money from the men, give it to him, then was allowed to "take a hit of drugs" before performing the sex acts on the men.

A witness informed law enforcement after being told what was happening.
