MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- It was quite the day over at Hawthrone Elementary School!
Students got to bring their creativity to the forefront.Â
Face paintings, a live DJ and free haircuts were just some of the fun offerings happening over at Hawthorne.
But the main event was Adidas bringing in hundreds of pairs of shoes that functioned as a canvas for the students!Â
Using paint, the styled up their shoes however they wanted - awakening a creative side that some maybe thought they didn't have!Â
"The hope is that there is something else they can do that they didn't know, maybe an unlocked superpower that they have,"Â said Alexander John, creative director and designer. "Now that starts a conversation about their creativity with someone else."Â
Thursday's event served as a bit of a 'tease' for what's to come from Adidas, who will once again be releasing an official 414 Day shoe.Â
Which will be available to the public in just two days!Â
