WEST ALLIS, Wis. (CBS 58) -- West Allis police say a 4-year-old boy is injured after getting struck by a vehicle while crossing a crosswalk with his mother.
The incident happened at around 6:50 p.m. on Friday, May 15, near 69th and National Avenue.
Police say a vehicle traveling westbound passed other vehicles on the right who were stopped for pedestrians in a crosswalk.
A 25-year-old woman from West Allis has been arrested for reckless driving causing bodily harm.
At this time, it is unknown the extent of the child's injuries.
The incident will be referred to the Milwaukee County District Attorney's office for charges.
