MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A 37-year-old was shot during a robbery near 25th and Capitol on Tuesday, June 2 at around 10 a.m. and was taken to a hospital with non-fatal injuries, according to Milwaukee police.
Vernon Brock, who lives in the area near the robbery and shooting, says police respond to crimes in this area constantly, making it unsafe for people who live there.
“It’s scary, you don’t know if you’ll be the next victim or not. You can just come out your garage and boom,” Brock said. “We gotta get the community together.”
