GREENFIELD, Wis. (CBS 58) -- On Wednesday, Nick Marking kept his Brass Tap Bar in Greenfield open and he offered customers a discount. Whatever the wind chill was, that was the percent he took off their bill.
"What I do as a business owner here, I try to be as creative as possible," said Marking.
If it was 40 below, they got 40% off.
We asked him about the mood of his customers after they fought through the cold to reach his place.
"It's pretty lighthearted. I mean certainly cold out, but it's a topic of conversation but it's a fun topic of conversation," said Marking.
Marking says he figures to break even despite the discounts. But, he says the most important thing is doing right by his customers who want to come in.
