Snap-on Milwaukee Mile 250 Weekend runs Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 23 and 24, at Wisconsin State Fair Park. Practice and qualifying begin Saturday, with full points-paying NTT IndyCar Series racing Sunday. Ticket prices vary through the park box office.
Mexican Fiesta returns Friday through Sunday, Aug. 22 through 24, on Milwaukee’s lakefront. The festival features music, dance, food vendors and more.
Fresh Coast Jazz Festival presents two nights at the Pabst Theater on Friday and Saturday. Everette Harp and Andy Snitzer perform Friday, with Chris Standring scheduled Saturday. Tickets are available through the venue.
Hip-Hop Week’s TRUE Knowledge DJ classes conclude Thursday at TRUE Skool. Each 2-hour session includes hands-on time with vinyl and digital gear and a Q&A with guest DJs. Registration is required.
