Wet money to be replaced at Fox River State Bank in Burlington

The Fox River State Bank which has branches in Burlington and Lake Geneva says the money damaged by last week's flooding will be completely replaced.

A lot of the money in the bank was wet which was enough damage for the U.S. Treasury Department to send them new money. The replaced money does not cost the bank anything and was sent out on Tuesday via an armed guard.

The bank had 21 inches of water stream in after historic flooding of the Fox River. The bank is installing new carpet, replacing carpet and getting new furniture.

The bank re-opened on Tuesday.
