Waukesha County residents now eligible for FEMA assistance following April storms, flooding
CBS 58 WAUKESHA COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Waukesha County residents who experienced damage from storms and flooding between April 13 and April 23 are now eligible to apply for FEMA financial assistance.
This past April, the county was hit by multiple rounds of severe storms that produced an EF2 tornado in the Village of Lisbon on April 14, and an EF0 tornado in the City of Muskego on April 17.
In the months that followed, County officials said they worked with local, state, and federal partners to ensure all impacted residents had the recovery resources they need.
Now, those affected residents can apply for that assistance here.
Impacted residents may also call FEME at 1-800-621-FEMA (3362).
FEMA assistance may include aid for temporary housing, home repairs, and other disaster-related expenses.
Applications are due August 31.
