Meet CBS 58’s Pet of the Week: Bunilla
Thiensville (CBS 58)--Looking at a very swollen Milwaukee River here in Thiensville. The river stage is around 12 feet, a foot above flood stage and still going up. One person I spoke with said the current here at the damn is like rapids you'd find out West.
There's a lot stuck in the river. Buoys all tangled. Trees in the water. Part of a pier. But believe it or not, some who’ve lived here for decades say they’ve seen it worse.
So we have a Flash Flood Watch for the next day and a Flood Advisory the next several days. Residents say their eyes will be peeled on these water levels.
