Warm Wednesday then dropping temps and a chance for showers for Brewers Opening Day
Wednesday has trended even warmer with highs reaching into the middle 60s across the area. The southwest wind will gust to 30 mph at times in order to bring in all of that warmth. The wind will lighten up Wednesday night and Thursday morning then become breezy again Thursday afternoon as it shifts to the NE. A lighter chilly wind is expected on Friday.
After a warm day in the mid 60s Wednesday, the temperatures will drop on Thursday. We have dropped the high into the 50s and those 50s are likely in the morning hours before dropping into the 40s by the afternoon. Then we get a chilly day on Friday in the 30s with fast warming going into the weekend.
With the dropping temps on Thursday will come our next chance for showers. Most of the morning looks dry, although we can't rule out a few late morning showers in northern counties. The better rain chance is during the afternoon and evening hours. Some downpours are possible and there's even an isolated risk for a thunderstorm. The shower chance will end in the evening when some snow could mix in for our northern counties.
For Brewers Opening Day expect warmest temps for tailgating in the morning in the 50s but mostly dry. Some showers are possible by the time you're heading into the ballpark the temps staying steady through midday then dropping during the game. It might feel chilly leaving the game with temps getting into 40s and the gusty wind with showers.
