Walk-off Walk: Brewers win in extra innings
Brad Miller won Monday's game at Miller Park without having to swing a bat.
Miller took a bases-loaded walk in the bottom of the tenth, giving the Brewers a 6-5 win in a game that once saw the Brewers trailing 5-1.
The deficit happened thanks to an RBI groundout from Brian Dozier and a grand slam from Robbie Grossman, the first of his big league career. But the Brewers rallied on a Manny Pina solo homer, an RBI single from Miller, and a fielder's choice from Ryan Braun to make it 5-4.
In the ninth inning with the bases loaded, Travis Shaw lifted a fly ball deep enough to center field to score Miller and send the game to extra innings. That set the stage for Miller's walk-off walk against Zack Littell in the tenth.
Corey Knebel gets the win after throwing a scoreless top of the tenth inning. With the win, the Brewers take a one-game lead on the Cubs in the National League Central.
The series continues Tuesday at 3:10PM at Miller Park. You can find the game on the MLB Live Facebook page.
