MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – A vigil was held Tuesday night in honor of Mario Hobson who was shot and killed by Milwaukee Police on Monday.
The vigil was held at Center and Richards.
Family says the 48-year-old man was dealing with a mental break down at the time of his death. He was shot near 10th and Burnham.
“If they really just would have said hey man put down the gun, calm down, everything’s going to be okay… maybe someone else who is trained in case that don’t work, maybe, but something has to change somewhere in between.” Hobson’s younger brother Cordeous Reynolds said.
Several area police departments are assisting in reviewing the shooting.
