Dukes on Water to close for good, owner cites rising rent

CBS 58 MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- If you spend any time in Milwaukee's entertainment district, you're familiar with Dukes on Water. We've learned that the bar will close for good after Friday.
The owner tells us this decision is not related to any of the recent issues with violence on Water Street; it's a financial matter.
The landlord is selling the building and rent is going up.
