Victim identified in Saturday afternoon fatal shooting

The victim of a Saturday afternoon shooting in Milwaukee has been identified.   The Milwaukee Police say the victim is 18-year-old Jakeem Sims.

Around 3:30 PM Saturday, Police were called to a traffic accident at 19^th and Eggert where a car had crashed into a tree.  When the Police investigated the accident they found that the 18-year-old inside the car had been shot.   Sims was transported to Froedtert Hospital where he later died.  

The MPD is investigating the incident attempting to determine where Sims was first shot and what led up to the shooting.   They are continuing to look for suspects in the case.
