UPDATE: Police report David Alvin Babler has been found safe

MONROE (CBS 58) -- UPDATE: David Alvin Babler has been found safe, according to police


MONROE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Monroe police are seeking help in finding 79-year-old David Alvin Babler.

He has short gray hair and is bald on top.

He was last seen wearing a white dress shirt, black corduroys, a Vietnam veteran hat and a black nylon jacket, according to police.

Police report that Babler was last seen on April 29 at 10:00 a.m. near the 600th block of 8th Avenue.

According to police, Babler left his home around 10 a.m. He has dementia and has not returned home. Babler left to find a place for dry cleaning.

Police say that the possible locations Babler could be at are Janesville and Beloit.

Babler was driving a 2006 black Audi A6 3.2 Quattro AWD.
