UPDATE: I-894 East Bound is Open After Early AM Accident

I-894 east bound in the Hale interchange is now open.  The  section of I-894 east bound in Milwaukee was closed for nearly four hours this morning after a tandem semi-trailer truck jackknifed in the east bound section of I-894 just past the Old Rock Freeway ramp to I-43 south.  The accident occurred around 2 AM.  No one was hurt in the accident, but reporters on scene say the tractor and one of the trailers are facing the wrong way on the freeway with the second trailer up against the first.  A small fuel leak was also reported.  Law enforcement has closed all east bound lanes from the north to the east in the Hale and that traffic is being diverted west bound on to the Old Rock Freeway and surface streets until the accident cleared.
