MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The trial of Ralph Taylor continued Wednesday in Milwaukee County.
Taylor was charged with multiple felonies, including first degree intentional homicide, in connection to the death of his 4-year-old son.
Police say 35-year-old Taylor shot the boy in July of last year.
In court Wednesday, Taylor himself took the stand.
"Your son is dying from a gunshot wound, and you are lying about the circumstances of what happened. And not only lying, but you're faking outrage about it, are you? Yes. And you're doing that because you're trying to cover up for what you did, right? Yes."
The boy's mother, Casandra Taylor, is also charged.
She's pleaded guilty and will be in court again later this month.
