MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- One state lawmaker from Milwaukee is looking a little bit different Monday night.
State Representative Jonathan Brostoff cut his hair.
He co-authored a bill that helps deaf people in Wisconsin.
Last year he promised supporters that he wouldn't cut his hair until the bill passed.
"Thank you to the Disabilities Rights of Wisconsin and to all the stakeholders, and to all the people across Wisconsin, and to everyone who helped make this possible," Rep. Brostoff (D-Milwaukee) said.
Brostoff also says when he made the promise not to cut his hair he was fairly confident the bill would eventually be passed.
