RACINE COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- It's election day in Racine County on Thursday, Dec. 19.
A special election was held today to fill the vacant county executive seat.
The polls closed at 8 p.m. and the results are in.
Ralph Malicki has defeated Wendy Christensen by a wide margin, grabbing 78% of the total votes. He'll take over the role previously held by Former County Executive Johathan Delagrave, who passed away unexpectedly last June.
