Sheboygan (CBS 58) -- Making your house sparkle these days is so much more than a chore, especially as we try to keep the Coronavirus out of our homes. We spoke with the owner of “One Girl and A Broom” in Sheboygan who gives some helpful advice. Megan Boettcher says it’s important to devote a few hours of time to battle all the dirt and grime. A mixed solution of cleaning vinegar and water and a dash of dish water can go a long way, especially with wiping down surfaces and all your blinds. She also says you can use dryer sheets to clean your wood floors and baseboards. Dusting is one of the most important chores you can do as you battle germs and harmful bacteria.
Boettcher recommends getting your kids involved when cleaning your house. We have some more helpful advice on how to clean the most effectively. Just click here. One of Boettcher's favorite websites is "Do It Yourself." She says you can't go wrong using it.
