Snow reports from the big winter storm and a look at more light snow Tuesday night

NOW: Snow reports from the big winter storm and a look at more light snow Tuesday night
NEXT:

The big winter storm from the weekend is finally done. Most of southeast Wisconsin saw the snow end by late Monday afternoon and the wind finally died down late Monday evening. The wind is much lighter Tuesday morning but it's cold with wind chills well below-zero. Snow totals for the storm from Saturday through Monday ended pretty close to our final forecast. Southern counties saw closer to 3-6" of snow with most areas to the west and north getting 6-12" then western Fond du Lac County getting slammed with 16" reported in Ripon.

Milwaukee officially picked up just under 5" of snow which puts us closer to average on snowfall for the season, but we are still just over an inch below average on snowfall for all of winter.

But we are not done on snow chances for the week. Another round of light snow looks very possible for late Tuesday evening through mid-morning Wednesday. The snow will be very powdery in nature. The Wednesday morning commute will likely be slick.

Up to an inch of snow looks possible for most of the area with up to 1.5" in some western locations. Watch for slippery sidewalks!

Another round of rain and mix will be possible Thursday morning.
