Racine Woman Wounded in Thursday Afternoon Shooting

A Racine woman was wounded in a shooting Thursday afternoon. The Racine Police are investigating the shooting that happened around 5:15 PM in the area of Hamilton and Marquette Streets. According to the Police report, the woman was taken to Ascension Wheaton Health Care for treatment of her wound. Her condition is not known at this time. The circumstances surrounding the shooting are being investigated by the Racine Police.
