MENOMONEE FALLS, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Pickleball enthusiasts will soon have a new place to play. The Picklr, an indoor pickleball facility, is scheduled to open in Menomonee Falls by the end of the summer. 

According to a news release, the 28,000 square-foot location will feature nine indoor courts with high-quality outdoor-style surfacing, a full pro shop, private event space, unlimited league play, tournaments, and open play.

The Menomonee Falls location will also feature two “championship” courts that can accommodate grandstands for tournaments and special events.

“This is the first of several locations that The Picklr will have in Greater Milwaukee,” said Amy Guerrero, Marketing Director of Murko Capital Corp, the development group bringing the concept to the state and other Midwest markets. “Demand for indoor pickleball courts has continued to grow as the game’s popularity soars.”

The Picklr Menomonee Falls will be located in the North Pointe Center in a former Big Lots at N78 W14511 Appleton Avenue, Menomonee Falls, WI 53051.
