Packers WR Davante Adams ruled out for game vs. Cardinals, report says

GREEN BAY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Wide receiver Davante Adams will not play in the Packers vs. Cardinals game, after not clearing COVID-19 protocols -- according to an ESPN report.
Adams did not travel to Arizona with the team.

GREEN BAY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Green Bay Packers announced Monday, Oct. 25, wide receiver Davante Adams has been placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list.

The news comes after the Packers sixth straight victory against Washington on Sunday, Oct. 24.
Green Bay is set to take on Arizona on Thursday, Oct. 28.
According to Packers.com, per agreed-upon NFL-NFLPA policy, clubs are not permitted to comment on a player's medical status other than referring to roster status. Being placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list is for a player who either tests positive for COVID-19 or who has been in close contact with an infected person or persons.
