MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- It took a while, but a book born out of the pandemic has finally been written and published. It's called "Silly in New York City." It's a collaborative effort between 14 people with memory issues who are part of the Adult Day Services program at Ovation Communities on Milwaukee's east side. More specifically members of the Ovation ReCharge Interactive Brain Health Class and Friday R & R Social Club.
What's offered at Ovation involves a spectrum of services and activities for those experiencing memory loss. The book features six unique characters. It's meant for kids, but anyone could take advantage of turning the pages and seeing what's been created.
