One in Jail following Bar Fight, Attempted Homicide in West Bend

On Sunday, September 13th at 1:40 AM, West Bend Police were called to the Washington House Pub for a fight and gunshots fired.

Timothy Jackson, a 36-year-old male from Milwaukee, was physically fighting with a 34-year-old male from West Bend. The West Bend man tried to get away and was chased by Jackson in to the women’s bathroom. While in the bathroom, Jackson made threats and pointed a loaded handgun at the man.

Both men wrestled over the firearm at which time, one shot was fired into the tile flooring. A 23-year-old female was in the bathroom at the time.

Both Jackson and the man from West Bend received minor injuries as a result of the physical altercation. No one was injured by the gunshot.

There were over 50 patrons in the tavern at the time of the incident. No one else was injured.

Jackson was treated at St. Joseph’s Hospital in West Bend before being placed in the Washington County Jail for Attempted 1st Degree Intentional Homicide, 1st Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety, Felon in Possession of a Firearm, and going Armed While Intoxicated.
